We are Nacho and Ioana, a Spanish – Romanian couple, nature lovers and promoters of sustainable tourism. In 2013 we have decided to come together with our family to make a living in Moieciu de Sus, Brasov County, which is also Ioana’s birth place.
We´re fond of culture, history, old traditions and customs, which we try to revive, promote and share with all of our guests and friends. We love hiking and living as close as possible to raw nature.
We’ve spent our life working in tourism and we have put up a small tour operating agency, with the main goal of making our guests stay in Romania an unique experience!
We promote responsible tourism in the areas where our tours unfold and sustain the small communities, in harmony with nature.
We recommend small group journeys that come out of the ordinary and we invite you to discover intriguing places in Transylvania, Bucovina and Danube Delta!
We challenge you to meet new people, learn from new experiences and contribute in a positive way to the communities we will visit!
Nacho is a rumañol, meaning half Spanish, half Romanian. Originary from Zaragoza, Spain, where everybody’s known as “maño”, and adapted to Romania, he has become a “rumaño”.
Nacho has worked in Spain for many years as a tour guide and as an incoming chief department in travel agencies. Currently he knows more about Romania than a local, and he is more than a guide, he is an entertainer. He will take you both on cultural and hiking tours.
Ioana is a local tour guide, who loves her country and is passionate about Romania’s rural areas and its gastronomy. She’s the one who looks for really genuine and special places when designing the tours. Apart from guiding, she’s given special attention to the Romanian gastronomy, looking for old recipes and trying combinations of old and new, puting emphasis on seasonal and fresh products, for a spectacular gastronomic experience. She will take you on rural and hiking tours and she will definitely cook for you!
Moshe is our friend from Israel, who’s fond of travelling and who has fallen in love with Romania’s beauty. After visiting Romania for several years, he decided to promote our country on a touristical level, amongst his conationals. Moshe is our representative and contact person for our friends coming from Israel, but he’s happy to deal with anyone willing to contact.
