Bucovina Museums and Culture

Any part of Bucovina is a small paradise.

A community such as Ciocanesti in Bucovina, with small houses decorated with carved wood panels looks like it is straight out of a fairy tale. All the houses are painted with their Easter Egg designs and motifs from traditional clothes.

Our 10 day tour combines two emblematic areas of Romania, Transylvania and Bucovina. The region of Transylvania is very rich in historical sites, medieval cities and local culture, while Bucovina is well renowned for its UNESCO Heritage painted monasteries, the largely forested areas and the hospitality of its people.

Bucovina’s churches with exterior and interior murals are unique in Europe, which is why they have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. The churches follow the Byzantine style, but also show openness to Renaissance humanism and art.

If you haven’t found what you’re looking for, please let us know it, we will tailor something according to your tastes and interests.
