In the afternoon and we head on to Viscri, where we will spend the night. Viscri is one of the most beautiful villages of Transylvania and one of the oldest as well. A visit to Viscri is an authentic experience of traveling through time, of returning to a more pure way of life, far away from civilization, as it is also stated in the amazing series of documentaries about Romania.

We will attend a workshop in the village, either at the feltmakers ( a group of women in the village are making feltshoes and hats by hand, from wool to the final product. You can buy nice things at a good price) or at the blacksmiths (more than making horseshoes, he is making hinges for windows and doors, nails and many other things).

We will spend the night and have dinner in one of the local guesthouses.

Day 5

Breakfast and visit at the fortified church in Viscri and short tour of the village.

Transfer to Sighisoara, the best preserved medieval city in Eastern Europe and since 1999 a Unesco World Heritage Site. We will visit  the city and in the afternoon we head on to Sibiu, European capital of culture in 2007, where we will visit its impressive and very well conserved medieval center, which is also an Unesco World Heritage site. Free time for shopping and discovering the city on your own.
