Arrival. Meet and greet at the Bucharest airport. Transfer to Bucharest. Accommodation at 4* Hotel.
Breakfast and walking guided tour to the historical centre of Bucharest. Spare time. In the afternoon, transfer to Moeciu de Sus. Accommodation and dinner.
Breakfast and discovering a mountain village life style. Hiking trip to Bisericuta Peak, the highest point in the village of Moeciu de Sus, with 1322 m altitude. All along the hike the views over Moeciu Valley, Fundata, the Bucegi Natural Park and the Piatra Craiului National Park are stunning. Cheese tasting with local homemade cheeses. Horse drawn carriage tour of the village and visit to Cabane aux Images, an exhibition about rural life in Romania, to the orthodox church of the village and to a traditional weaving loom, with live demonstration of use. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast and visit to the Prejmer Fortified Church, an UNESCO patrimony site and one of the most monumental and better conserved fortified churches in Transylvania. We head on to Brasov, the capital city of the Brasov county and one of the most beautiful and flourishing cities in central Romania, to visit its old medieval center. Return to Moeciu de Sus. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast and transfer to Sighisoara, the best preserved medieval city in Eastern Europe and since 1999 a Unesco World Heritage Site. Sighisoara is also the birth place of Vlad Tepes, the historical character that inspired Bram Stoker in creating Dracula. On the way to Sighisoara we will stop in Viscri to see the famous fortified church of the village, also a Unesco World Heritage Site. Return to Moeciu de Sus. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast and visit to the Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Zarnesti, the greatest bear reserve in Europe. Here, 95 bears that used to live in miserable conditions have been rescued and live now a happy life in a natural environment. We head on to Rasnov, to see its 15th century fortress which oversees the city. Our next stop will be in Bran, to visit the famous Dracula´s Castle. Return to Moeciu de Sus. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast and transfer to Sibiu, European capital of culture in 2007, where we will visit its impressive and very well conserved medieval center, which is also an Unesco World Patrimony site. Return to Moeciu de Sus. Dinner and accommodation.
Transfer to Bucharest airport. On the way, we will stop in Sinaia, on the Prahova Valley, also known as the Pearl of the Carpathians, where we will see the Peles Castle (19th century), old summer residence of the romanian royal family, and the Sinaia Monastery (1695). Transfer to Bucharest airport and end of the tour.
