TAKE ME THERE!Some of the most appreciated museums in Romania can be found in the big cities like Bucharest, Brasov, Iasi, Sibiu, Cluj Napoca, Timisoara. Sibiu and Bucharest are home to magnificient ethnographical museums, largely visited and reccommended.
There are also many small museums, organised and run by families or friends, showing pieces of life, history or crafts which are very interesting to visit in small groups. Just to name few: Ferestroika and the Kitsch Museum in Bucharest, the Dracula Investigation, and Art and Craft in Sighisoara.
Our tours include visits at the main medieval cities and sites like Brasov, Cluj Napoca, Sibiu or Sighisoara for example, that have impressive and very well preserved medieval centers, hard to find in other places. The ancient city centers, the medieval buildings, the magnificent churches, the narrow streets, the picturesque squares and other beautiful sites can all take us back on a journey in time, to centuries ago.
The castle of Bran, the medieval fortresses of Rasnov, Rupea and the medieval fortified transylvanian churches and more medieval sites, are also listed in our tours.
In many of our tours we use as base our mountain village, Moieciu de Sus, settled 12 km from Bran and 35 km away from Brasov, where our guests come in touch with the local culture, the homestays and the delicious home made meals cooked with local produce.
